It is such a beautiful property and our apartment was clean and comfortable. Ate at the lovely restaurant one nigh and had take out the second. The breakfast was fantastic, so delicious with many options. The staff were so friendly and helpful.

We were astounded that so many things were not available at this 5 star Hotel when we arrived to 5 days there, where the temperature (as forecasted) was between 28-34 degrees. 1. No Airconditioning in room or elsewhere (apparently a local restriction to do with pollution??? But I went to another hotel to investigate (The Social Hub hotel) where is was fully air conditioned. No mention on Hotels.com website about it. 2. Not allowed in Pool until 1st June (arguably when checking small print on hotels.com website it does say that) but if I put that as one of my search criteria and the the date I'm going, I expect a pool..., again we're told it's a local restriction but the pool was open at The Social Hub Hotel..??? Other problems were, no food available on Sunday evening, had to get reception order us a delivery Pizza, Spa wasn't open and the bareness of it looked like it hadn't been for a while. We were offered a bottle of Prosecco in apology for no pool and on the designated terrace we had to use to sunbath on the Friday. We then decided to drive to the beach an hour or so away for the next 2 days as the terrace was either full shade early in the day or full fun with no shade later in the day. When we thought we'd give the terrace another go on the Monday all our towels, Prosecco bottle and glasses were still there from the Friday, no one had even cleared them up!!! The manager and staff were apologetic and I blame the OWNERS and Hotels.com for bad info and policies.

Wunderbare Lage, ausgezeichneter Service, schöner Pool. Insg. sehr geräumiges Hotel mit sicherem großem Parkplatz (inkl. einiger Ladestationen). Ruhig inmitten von Olivenhainen abseits der Stadt gelegen. Trotzdem zu Fuß in 30 Minuten mitten Florenz. Im richtigen Zimmer fantastischer Ausblick. Im Badezimmer kleine Schönheitsfehler an Dusche und Tür durch Verschleiß ABER immer sauber. Ziemlich knackige Preise im Restaurant jenseits des Früstückbuffets: haute cuisine bei der die Kosten invers proportional zur Befüllung der Teller und Gläser ausfallen.

Lovely Villa. Very spacious rooms. Close to Firenze. Chill location. Lots of in house facilities. Friendly and helpful staff. Some finer details: Ironing board available on request, not in room already. Sink was blocked but was fixed when reported Would definitely recommend and return.

Hotel Tolomei was truly worth all its 5 stars! Our room was stunning and spotless, the breakfast was abundant, and the restaurant served excellent food. The entire staff was absolutely wonderful. Our wedding anniversary was made extra special with champagne and a cake prepared just for us. We stayed for six days, surrounded by breathtaking scenery with vineyards and olive trees all around. We even saw deer and pheasants nearby. The resort is located on a hill about 4 km from the town center — good walking shoes are recommended if you plan to go by foot. Our experience was a perfect 5/5, and we will definitely return!
