"Location is a 15 minute walk to the city center and maybe 15 minutes to the airport. Nothing really stood out in the immediate area worth walking to and the hotel does not have on site parking which I didn't like. Upon arriving to the hotel the room wasn't ready even though it was already an hour after check-in time. I waited a while but staff made it right by offering free drinks on the marvelous rooftop. Harris that attended us on the rooftop was awesome! The room I chose was the suite which was generously sized for Florence standards and it had its own couch area apart from bed. The tissue paper offered is almost a newspaper rolled into bath paper, its horrible. Also, the hotel doesn't offer an iron or steamer, you have to go downstairs to their laundry area and use one of three available irons that are chained to the wall. I hated this aspect of it. It felt as a college dorm instead of a hotel. There's only two small elevators to use and the primary one gets shut down only providing rooftop access after 6pm so you do find yourself using the stairs more often than not. Downstairs they do have a coffee bar which was nice. I didn't try their breakfast. Overall, I probably wouldn't stay here again but for the price its good and the rooftop is amazing and not crowded. Their gym has all the equipment you need and a nice view of the city. "
"I had a wonderful stay at Antico Panda. The staff were kind, friendly, and very helpful throughout my stay. The building is old, but I already knew that when I booked it online, and it was clean and comfortable. The food was fresh and enjoyable as well.
The hotel is close to shops, restaurants, and major tourist attractions, so it can get a little noisy late at night and during the day, but nothing too alarming. Also, be prepared to hear the church bells ringing every hour, which personally did not bother me at all.
