Beautiful hotel a few kilometers off the main road between Blois and Amboise and surrounded by open fields and green grass. This was the nicest room of our trip (and most expensive). We had dinner two nights at the hotel restaurant and enjoyed both tremendously. Excellent food and generally excellent service, not to mention watching the cows roaming back and forth beyond the windows. I'd like to echo the many positive comments about this wonderful inn. Olivier and Anne-Sophie (and their sweet dog Lady) were great hosts. The property was lovely and well maintained. Beautiful room (especially the bathroom.) Excellent breakfast. Charming town right in the heart of Chateaux country. Scenic driving and cycling through vineyards. I wholeheartedly recommend it.
5mn walk to Domaine Chaumont chateau. Extrememy peacefull and well maintained.

The dining option at the Grand Chaume was a wonderful experience with a Chef trained by a Michelin star. It was a off season peak we avoided the crowd with a beautiful early blue sky and flowers.
I had stayed here about 20 years ago. This time we stayed in on of the petit rooms which was more than adequate for the two of us. The staff was very accommodating with helping with dinner reservations since the chateau was totally booked for the next two nights. We had great Dionne's in Amboise. A table opened up due to a cancelation our second night. We had an excellent dinner with very attentive service.
Chateau de Nazelles was a lovely place to stay and use as a base for seeing a few Chateaus within 40 minutes. The owners and their staff were especially friendly and offered very thoughtful hospitality. Our accommodations were unique and very comfortable. Just be careful making the turn into the Chateau - it is very narrow and the large stones that have been there a long time are not forgiving. Our rental car didn't have a great turning radius so this was something we really needed to watch...
One of my favorite stays in France. Property is remarkable with multiple areas to get lost and relax. Quiet country setting. Rooms are updated and fabulous. Breakfast was delicious and staff was friendly and inviting. Highly recommend!!!
This hotel was a bit remote, but still close to Amboise. I doubt we would have found it without our navigator, but what a loss it would have it would have been had we not. The modern facility was immaculate, and the room was spacious beyond belief. But the real surprise was the dinner... I believe the best we'd experienced in our three weeks of travel throughout France. (By all means, order the cod.)

Situated in the countryside near Chenonceau castle, the property is located in a former mill house bordering the Cher river, which some rooms overlook. The house is surrounded by a large garden, with a swimming pool, pétanque court, ping pong and access to paths along the riverside.
