"Room was fine - not huge, but the bathroom was a decent size. No hot water kettle, tea, coffee, bottle opener. Shower had shampoo and conditioner, plus bar soap. Breakfast was better than expected with eggs and meats, bread and pastry, cereal with yogurt/milk, juice and coffee. No ability to check-out late as building was booked the next day. Gym was small with some machines, and fine for limited use. Spa requires a pre-booking and has limited hours, as does the gym."

"Muy buena experiencia. Como puntos a mejorar creo que el desayuno deberia ser mejorado. El espacio top roof se encontraba desarreglado y sucio y el estado de las alformbras de los pasillos no es el adecuado. Saludos"

"An historical icon that still attends to the needs of a modern traveler. We have family in BA and have traveled there many times, staying at the Alvear was on our bucket list, and it did not disapoint in any way. From the cocktails in the lounge to the bed linens, it was superb. "

"Clean room and bathroom, just the bathroom is outdated needs some work/ repair. Like other reviews you can hear noise from outside street. It is a busy street overall. My room was on the sixth floor. Elevators are really small. Friendly staff. "
