"Staff were very helpful and professional. We had a room overlooking the courtyard it was quiet, it had everything you need and would expect from a Radisson Blu hotel (including effective air con). The bed was exceptionally comfortable and I really liked the bronze and red velvet touches in the room. Housekeeping was excellent. The breakfast buffet was good, the hotel has a small bar (also good). Nil issues and would happily stay again. I would suggest you mention you are a member at looking - I forgot to do this (I have premier status)."
"Ideally situated just a short walk from the airport bus stop (Grēcinieku iela) past the House of the Blackheads and within sight of the Freedom Monument. Outside is a large square with plenty of restaurants though they did seem to have similar menus and charge similar prices. Everything went quiet at 11:00pm.
Receptionists were helpful and spoke very good English. The room was renovated fairly recently and overlooked the square. It was very comfortable and clean. The only reservation was that the large screen TV only had about 4 channels actually tuned in but I hadn't gone to watch TV and the wi-fi was good enough to catch up on my tablet anyway.
The buffet breakfast wasn't the most lavish I've seen but in common with many hotels they were trying to push you towards a plated meal from the à la carte menu to cut down on food waste.
I would have no hesitation to stay here again."
