We asked for a cart to bring in our tons of luggage expecting to go out to the car with it to unload. Not only did they bring us a cart but they came out to the car and helped us with all of the luggage. When we checked in, our rooms were very warm. We thought we had adjusted the air conditioning in both rooms before dinner but when we came back, one room was still hot. We were caught up in the British Air problems when our flight was cancelled requiring us to rebook. We were able to get on a flight one hour earlier than our previous flight, which meant we had to leave in a hurry. The woman at the front desk was wonderful about getting us breakfast to go and directions to Dublin airport. We made our flight, all thanks to her!
We had a lovely stay @ Launard house! Sharon & Adam provided exceptional service & hospitality. This was the 11th lodging stop for us (Scotland & Ireland) and the first to have a top sheet & washcloths, which we appreciated as Americans. Sometimes it’s the little things!😃 We walked into town for dinner with dozens of great dining choices. Breakfast was delicious and we wish we could have stayed longer.
Beautiful old house with large bedroom. Very comfortable bed (one of the best out of 14 hotels) which was much needed due to the jet lag. Wonderful staff and walkable village shops and pubs

Simply fantastic. The staff and accomodations were excellent, and we so appreciated receiving a very kind complimentary room upgrade to celebrate our anniversary. The history of the castle and surrounding land is fascinating and steeped in lore, and we enjoyed learning more about this this very special part of the heart of Ireland.
Great hotel with great staff. Stayed at 5 hotels while in Ireland and this was the best. Not much to look at from the outside but very nice on the inside. Meals were very good and all staff were friendly and helpful. Loved this place!
The Club House had a phenomenal staff! Upbeat helpful friendly. Although the rooms were small they were very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. Great shower. Excellent location. And a delicious breakfast. We highly recommend this hotel.
The Hatch, which is part of this business and across the parking lot, is lovely and has a delicious breakfast offering. The rooms are clean and new. Mild disturbances with doors slamming shut, but overall a very affordable and nice stay.

I could tell something was wrong with our reservation as he asked twice for our name and then if our reservation could be under a different name. Then he took our confirmation page and excused himself for a couple minutes in the back room. The hotel overall was great. The pub and restaurant were great when we didn't want to run back into town. The staff was friendly and helpful with any questions. It was a lovely choice for an out-of-the-way stay. The bus stop is a short walk from the hotel, and the fare is 2 euros. An Uber into downtown cost us about 13 Euros. We had a wonderful stay at the Langton Hotel. The location was perfect for exploring Kilkenny, and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful and welcoming. Our room was very comfortable, exceptionally clean, and inviting. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it!
