A truly wonderful stay. The staff were warm, attentive, and always ready to help. The location was excellent, set within a wonderful winery setting that made the experience even more memorable. My wife and I stayed here while visiting Peneda-Gerês National Park. Sao Bento was a fantastic location for exploring the park and trails in the surrounding area. The hotel is a short 10-15-minute drive to Campo do Geres, where we went on a great hike (Cidade da Calcedónia trail) followed by a terrific drive through the park, along the Rio Homem (lake) to the Spanish border, and back down N-308-1. The hotel staff recommended a hike that left from the front door of the hotel. While...

The owner is so special.
