"The Sarahma Lodge is a little gem. The host Amy is very welcoming and a great cook, every meal was special. The setting on the banks of the lagoon is great. The rooms are simple, but clean and pleasant. And its great value, much better than the 'Ecolodge' next door!"

"We loved the Ecolodge de Simal. It's really off the beaten track (quite literally so), but once you get there, the location is wonderful: right on the water. We were there for three nights. The food was plentiful, fresh, and tasty; the free activities (like a excursion en pirogue) was wonderful; the pool is chlorinated and clean; the rooms are rustic with open air bathrooms and toilets, but comfortable; the housekeeping good; the bar/restaurant staff friendly. It's not a "luxury"...

"The Room was amazing, the outdoor shower and the monkeys watching and playing above was just amazing. The lion walk was a once in a lifetime experience. The Staff went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. Maria on the safari ride and the driver was the best !! "

"The location is very beautiful with lovely views of the sea. The patio and garden & pool area are very nice. Food is excellent and the staff is sooo helpful both with food, arranging good taxi drivers, airport transfers etc, for a good price. Just a word of warning: the beach (far below, so it's only a problem when you take the stairs down to the beach) is impressively dirty/filthy. So just don't expect nice walks on the beach."
