Hotels in Wattle Hill

This is an indecently managed inn located in a quiet upscale neighborhood. There’s bus service into town but we found it easier to use Uber. There’s nearby food at a casino or even better a coffee/breakfast shop and restaurant a few hundred meters south.

We really enjoyed our short stay. Our host was very responsive to our inquiries and the property had all the information required to make our stay comfortable and easy.

The room was spacious and well appointed. The full breakfast, served in the sunny breakfast room overlooking the beautiful gardens, was yummy. Although a car is a must for staying here, the accommodation is otherwise convenient to downtown Hobart and a great choice as a base for exploring the area.

The Henry Jones hotel is a lovely place to spend your days in Hobart. The rooms are large and have a nice view of the harbor. The staff is friendly and attentive. I would definitely stay here again if in Hobart.

We stayed two nights, separated by a two day, one night GBR snorkel trip. Jeannette very graciously allowed us to keep everything in our room for the extra night without having to pack and unpack again. VERY much appreciated. Room (#9) was huge with separate sitting area. Breakfast was modest, and it's a $20 taxi ride to town. Otherwise, a charming, comfortable place to stay.

The unit was well designed, tastefully furnished and quite comfortable, with a two story design that allowed for a spacious open area and functional kitchen, with the second level containing the two sufficiently large bedrooms and a bathroom. On site laundry was a definite plus and the complimentary laundry detergent was much appreciated. Room was clean. Shower was outstanding! Nice having a washer and dryer in the room. Housekeeping, dining and front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. Get the breakfast each morning! Great food. Gym was adequate but a bit small. Close to the wharf and right on the bus stop. Would stay there again!

This hotel is very chic and art deco with a beautifully heated pool, laundry, parking, with a surprisingly amazing southeast Asian restaurant and bar. The food was top notch. I was pleasantly surprised and if I’m in Hobart again, I will absolutely stay again.

Close walking to harbor, restaurants, grocery and museums. Very clean. Friendly and easy check in. Only disappointing aspect was lack of outdoor seating on the small deck. Great staff service. Very pleased.

Charming apartment in the best location in Battery point. Restaurant choices are a few steps way. Very clean with high quality sheets and towels. We were able to walk everywhere.

3 night stay, staff was excellent. Loved the mini kitchen/living room with comfy chairs and TV and the bottle of fresh milk every day in frig for coffee or tea. We walked everywhere to a wonderful variety of restaurants, museums and the wharf.
