"Bel Jou is a nice, if fairly generic, property in the hills above Castries. It's a little out of the way of anything and not walkable to anything - it seemed very much apart from anything genuinely St. Lucian. But it was clean and comfortable and the restaurant is excellent"

"Very nice and quiet place. We had excellent sunset views and cruise ships passing close by at night. Good snorkelling right out front and vigie beach is walking distance. It’s a sandy beach with nice gradual drop off. No water shoes required. Don’t expect any frills but it has what you need for a nice stay. "

"This is a fantastic property. I went for relaxation and had it in abundance. I spent the days reading and dipping in and out of the ocean and pool. It is well maintained both inside the rooms and around the property. The staff are polite and respectful, with smiles on their faces. The on site services mean you do not have to leave if you do not want to! This will now be my go to when staying in St Lucia. Highly recommended"

"Our overall stay here was lovely. The view from the balcony was excellent with loads of activities to watch in the harbour and in the air. It is quiet, clean and comfortable. The issue is the steep hill for getting back from bars, shops and restaurants but you know the property is on a slope before you go. There are passing public minibuses so you just have to wait for one to get back up the hill! John, the host, who lives on site, is very good and helpful. Would recommend. "

"Great gated complex close to the amenities of Rodney Bay. I stayed in a studio which was well equipped to a good standard and a great size. Had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Fabulous bathroom with great multi functional shower. Great pool area, not a huge pool but perfectly adequate for relaxing."
