The rooms were adorable and thoughtful. The area around the property felt safe and quiet and was walkable to the Mercado and coffee shops. "

"La Carolina is a modern brand name hotel with great views of Quito. The room was spotless and featured wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Parque La Carolina. About a 10-minute walk from the upscale shopping/dining area near Avenida Naciones Unidas or Iñaquito subway station. Breakfast is sumptuous. If you need a taxi from the hotel, ask for Jhon. He's extremely safe and loves to practice his English and is willing to help you practice your Spanish. "

"The property feels safer than any I’ve been it. The interior design is upbeat and unlike your average hotel. Great bedding, great tree top view allowed us to be entertained by mourning doves and hummingbirds. The breakfast was average for this area: eggs, fruit, fruit juice with or without sugar. In house roasted coffee. The manager and staff were efficient and friendly. We particularly liked Fernanda, the woman who served us breakfast on day one off three."

"Property is located in a convenient, walkable area near Carolina park. There are plenty of dining and shopping options available close to the hotel. Everyone from security to all the staff were pleasant and helpful. There are also Metro train stations within a short walking distance if you wish to venture outside the area of La Carolina. Would definitely recommend this hotel many times over. Purpose of trip was a layover stop en route to another location in the country."

The rooms a very spacey and roomie always clean the staff is very friendly and the staff speaks very good English so there's no misunderstandings if you're planning to eat the restaurant inside the hotel has the top of the line food everything on it very delicious"

"Excellent hotel. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I found it very clean, we did not use the gym but it looked very well equipped. We did enjoy the Hot tub, pool, cold plunge, and sauna. The best part as I knew rain was in the forecast, everything was on the roof and covered so you can still utilize everything. Restaurant was pretty good, I found adding the breakfast was worth it for convenience, good selection but it is buffet so i did not expect the best."
