Now this was totally unexpected. I am originally from Pernitz, about 20 or so km from Wiener Neustadt, but live in Los Angeles. Only 10 minute walk from train station to the hotel which is the Old City. Hotel is the oldest in the city, built in 1893 and had been completely renovated. Our room was immaculate with a parlor decorated with antique furniture. Great buffet breakfast in the ballroom dining room. The hotel is surrounded by many good restaurants and a few minutes walk to the main attractions. The staff is very cordial and helpful. Excellent value!!
Very nice, family-run pensjonat in a small village. Simple, but very pleasant and quiet. The whole staff was extremely helpful.
The village itself is small and doesn't have too many (and easy to find) grocery stores/supermarkets, cafes, and restaurants, but nice places are in Rust, a village 5 km away.
