"Basic hotel. The staff are excellent and attentive. The ceilings in the corridors are low. The mandatory exit signs are low in the corridors, with sharp edges. If you are over 5'10", you will bump your head on these signs. Rooms are larger than I thought they would be. Quite happy with the room, thank you. "

"I haven't checked out yet, but so far the hotel has been amazing. The staff are friendly and helpful; the room is large, clean, and comfortable; the bath is big and the shower pressure is strong. The bathroom looks much nicer than the standard tiny unit one most hotels have. They offer plenty of amenities at check in, and have a range of items available for free loans if you need them, e.g. phone chargers. I will definitely be visiting Alpha-1 again. "I’ve been trying to stay here for the past year. My stay was better than other hotels in the area. Fairly new hotel, nice layout and a great breakfast. About a ten minutes walk from the train station and fifteen minutes to the historical district. Food is nearby with two convenience stores across the street."

"Wow!! We had an incredible stay at the Dormy Inn in Kurashiki. The room was sizable, enough room for our luggage and then some. There were so many complimentary items; coffee, latte, other refreshments, ice cream and raman. Ther's a cheap beer vending machine. You dont have to leave the property. Highly recommend. "
