When I say this hotel is a five star experience, it even feels like an understatement. From the staff to the view and the idyllic environment, The Theodore is perfection. I hesitate to even write a review because I worry it will get overrun with tourists, but not writing it would be a disservice to the hotel. It’s beyond expectations. A perfect place for a quiet beach stay. Thank you Theodore!!!

Great service, friendly staff

The hotel was conveniently located in the old town. The rooms and facilities are modern, considering it was an old building. It had a rooftop garden that had a great view of the Venetian port, especially at night.

Parking was a bit of a walk (due to the location on the harbor it was not possible to park next to the hotel), but the beauty of the room, amazing view, and friendly staff more than made up for the walk.

Room was clean and spacious, staff were very friendly and helpful, a/c worked very well, room decor was intentional and practical. Breakfast was very good, too!

We stayed in the kastello Room and everything was perfect! The room was beautifully decorated with a big bathroom! The breakfast was so delicious and the staff was lovely. Would recommend and stay here again when I visit Chania again!

Very friendly and helpful staff. There is only street parking, but not hard to find, behind the hotel area. So many restaurants right there. Drove to the most famous Cretan beaches, but the local beach is also very nice. very picturesque. We could see the lighthouse from our window.

Vi hade en fin vistelse på Porto Kalamki. Vårt rum var nyrenoverat, rymligt och mycket välstädat. Att vi fick rummet högst upp med den bästa havsutsikten förstärkte såklart vår upplevelse. Hotellet ligger nära centrum och bussar går bara 100m utanför hotellet till stan men även till de bästa stränderna på några minuter. Personalen var mycket hjälpsam i alla våra frågor och resturangen hade tidigare gäster mycket rätt om- maten är god och till mycket rimliga priser. Det enda som drog ner vårt...

From the moment you get to the hotel you feel like a vip. The whole experience was 5 star for a 4 star price. Would definitely stay here again!

New rooms, very nice and sound proof. Extremely comfortable beds, amazing showers, awesome views from the balcony. Great location to old town (is in old town) and the old port. Very nice breakfast and owners are extremely nice. You must stay here!

We visited the Resort off season (mid-october) and did not reap its benefits. The resort located in Agia Marina (15km from Chania Town). The resort is split into two sections (across the road) and connected via overpass. The section closer to the beach has rooms with individual swimming pools, separate breakfast buffet, underground parking lot with elevator. The section across the road has much larger buffet, all hotel services such as concierge, spa, shops, conference rooms, hotel rooms... Both...

Quiet with access to beach. Staff was super attentive and extremely friendly. Highly recommend for those looking for a peaceful stay with great service.

I would recommend this property to anyone who is traveling to Chinia Crete! It's in a perfect location for clubs, stores, shops, beaches and restaurants. Staff was amazing and so helpful. 10/10 recommended to anyone traveling to Crete!
