This 13’ boulder has been in the town square for centuries and was originally a dolmen. It was used as a burial chamber before paganism fell out of favor. When Christianity came into vogue, the boulder was remodeled and a small chapel was added in the 17th century. It’s definitely worth the drive to see.

"This hotel comes VERY highly recommended. The staff are all very friendly, welcoming and helpful. We had room 24, which is a suite and it was truly lovely. The bed is scrumptious, with fabulous lines and great pillows. Our room was very comfortable and the meal we had in the restaurant was delicious. The breakfast was delicious and the parking was terrific. I enjoyed our stay so much, I have booked with a partner hotel in another town."
