"This is a superb hotel situated in the beautiful Gendarmenmarkt. We used the S Bahn to get out to the Olympic Stadium and Airport but other than that we walked everywhere. The hotel is beautifully presented (we loved the Prussian Blue theme!) and our fifth floor room had a lovely balcony and one of the best hotel showers we've ever come across! The staff were extrmemely helpful and polite. "

"The suite we booked was outstanding… spacious, pristine, calming and comfortable. We had a difficult time leaving it! It had numerous full length windows overlooking the river, which provided a tranquil view of the water and passing boats. We were on the main floor, off of the Library, where every evening, port was set out for the guests, as were fruit and fruit-infused water each morning. "This was my second visit to the Post House and has everything I need for my regular visits to Berlin. Quiet location, clean rooms, comfortable beds and helpful staff. The buffet breakfast was excellent and was a highlight. The Hotel’s location is very convenient with the Anhalter U-Bahn and various bus stops only a short 5 min. walk away. I shall return for my next trip to Berlin. "

Good restaurants nearby on Charlottenstrasse. We had self catering studio and shopped at nearby Lidl (5 minutes walk)Helpful staff who spoke good English. Would stay again if returning to Berlin"
