"Always a great experience. Parked easily (free) and checked in swiftly. Offered a different room as air con was playing up. Accepted a twin. Lovely room, fresh clean beds and towels. Quiet. Had a drink in bar. Breakfast included was more than adequate. For the price it’s excellent!"

"Refurbished in the sixties to include ensuite baths, this stately home is a salute to the past with spacious rooms, fireplaces, high ceilings and magnificent stained gass windows. Full breakfast and parking. Very welcoming. We'll be back!"

"The Hotel and staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. My wife had recently suffered a broken leg, which necessitated a room change to a dog friendly ground floor room. Food was plentiful and nice. The location although just outside off the A34 was quiet enough. WiFi was great and the pub/hotel itself was very dog friendly. We would definitely stay again if we’re ever down that way again "

"Our stay at the Jack Russell was very enjoyable. The service was excellent and the food was very good. The bedroom was very comfortable with a lovely view. However, the lighting was very subdued which is relaxing but it would have been useful to have more efficient reading lamps. The breakfast bar was good but it would have been nice to have a selection of nuts and seeds and full fat natural yoghurt. "

"Close to Mortor way, Excellent place if you just need a stay and head off. Everything Near by. Explore Cotswolds from here as Castle Combe, Bath, Bibury for these this is a middle spot. Good Place. Good Vibe. Good For families."

"This is located almost on a roundabout of a major road, however, it wasn’t noisy at all. Close to stone henge and literally across the street from a restaurant pub. Great people. The site itself is a little muddy due to some construction happening but I’m sure it will be fine in the summer time. "

"An excellent hotel for a trip to Bradford on Avon. The food was good and service excellent. Bradford is in easy reach and the hotel is on a bus route to Bath and Bradford. A canal trip is enjoyable. One word of caution: the entrance is on a sharp bend with not the best visibility (from Bradford), so take care."
