The neighborhood is very charming with its back streets, alleys, and minutes from both Ben Yehuda and Mahne Yehuda Market. I’ve eaten pounds of shears and shakshuka. I will be back. "For two of us (married) the room was small by our normal standards in the USA. But…TV had 5+ English channels, shower in the corner was good with hot water, and small refrig served our needs. I would have liked a breakfast area but Aroma Coffee is 30 steps from the front door. No elevator and first rooms start on the 2nd floor. There was at least another floor above us."

The Inbal hotel is nearby too so you can walk and have lunch there-would definitely recommend visiting that hotel for its cultural significance. We loved the staff here.
