"Excellent hotel! The staff were so helpful and welcoming. They gave us some New Years gifts which were so kind of them. It's a lovely hotel with good facilities. Laundry was very useful to have and there seemed to be ample car parking, although I didn't use it. There was a good offering for breakfast. Shower was particularly good."

"This is a lovely property that is both full service and yet feels very intimate. Our room was clean, spacious and well appointed, the restaurant, rooftop bar and lobby/social area were all wonderful. Even among other Kimpton properties we’ve stayed at, the staff could not have been more helpful, friendly and accommodating. We feel very fortunate to have chosen the Kimpton Da an for our week in Taipei."

"There is a department store with food courts and restaurants a block away. The night market is about 15 minutes away with tons of street venders and shops. There are some parking up front. 24 hours staff on site, if you just knock on the door besides the check-in machine. Everything is well worth the dollar, there is complementary massage chair on every other floor. The only I have slight complaints is the floor in the shower is a bit sticky or feels oily."
