"Stayed there with my family of 3 on NY eve last year. The property was well maintained. While we didn’t get to try all the amenities due to the NY eve rush, the complimentary boat ride on the lake Vemnad was amazing (I would highly recommend to book in advance as it fills our fast). Food was ok. I would recommend this place who wants a quiet, family friendly place in Allepey. "

"We had a really poor experience… 1) The bathrooms and washing areas were smelling bad / extremely unclean… the taps were all fully dark and rusty 2) very salty water provided for all washing / bathing. 3) extremely un-friendly staff who were showing absolutely no interest in the welfare of the guests. 4) It was extremely hot during day time, so we asked them to switch on the AC and they said AC will be available only from 9pm. 5) We bought some expensive prawns from the shop they took as to ,...

"The room had two big windows and a cute butterfly shaped bed. Big bathroom. Welcomed a board with a drink and friendly staff. The lounge and dining room was spacious and well decorated with comfortable furniture. Outside deck with comfy seating. The food was good and tea was served. "The boat was nowhere close to what was advertised and what we paid for. Room was advertised as premium but actual was far from it. Very poor room and supporting amenities. Linen, bathroom etc very very poor and not reflecting premium room. Poor linen - holes in linen and towels brown and very worn. No wifi on board even though advertised as with WIFI. No tissues or toilet paper as well as no bath mats. Very unhygienic facility but were asked to walk without shoes onboard."

"OMG what a wonderful trip/adventure. The boat cruised around the back waters for about 4 hours. First before we cruised they served us a wonderful lunch. Then while cruising we stopped at a fish market to buy us whatever we wanted to eat for dinner. I bought 6 giant prawns that they cooked up for me in addition to the other chicken dish we had for dinner. Delish!! Vacation time well spent."

"Kerela houseboats is the middle agency for blue house boats. NOT at all worth the money looting customers, spent so much but was shared with 6 families not peaceful!..asked for towels said 1 room 1 towel(more like long napkins) for 4 ppl. Double bed not enough for 4 ppl, after insisting got the extra bed, not recommended for the money spent."
