"It is disappointing that the room was not cleaned up at all and everything was in a mess when we checked in at 5pm. We went to the place we checked in and complained. The manager did apologize sincerely and promise to clean up the room in 2 hours and refund partially to us. The room had been cleaned up when we came back at 10pm and it was actually quite cosy - bright and good air conditioning. It's a pity that it couldn't leave us a good first impression. Also. the room's insulation is poor...

"This hotel is in the middle of two subway lines 6min and 9 mins walk and next to Nijo castle. The hotel does not have a receptionist full time. But they will gladly receive your luggages if you have them ship and alert them. But this mean you have to bring your luggage’s to the shipper for your con’t travel which could be a pain because most locations are a good walk or closed on weekends. The rooms are roomy, but lack of hangers , night stands , shower stall stool. The washer and dryer...

"The property was clean and spacious. It was nice to have access to laundry and a kitchen to make meals. We enjoyed walking past the Nijo castle and the other garden. It is in a quiet area so it is a bit further from the shopping areas. The owners left instructions to use the facilites and deatiled directions to stores/attractions "
