First off, thanks to Manoj for always being there to make my stay so comfortable and enjoyable. He not only help me find transportation for onward trip to Udaipur but also negotiated fare with a random auto driver. Whenever he saw me, he would ask if I needed anything. Besides him, every other staff too was always there to help for anything I needed, including the security guard who I found to be very interesting person.

If you're looking for a place to stay in Jodhpur - think again and stay here instead. Our experience at this homestay was the absolute highlight of our trip. You cannot find a nicer family, and they make the guests feel part of the community! We were able to travel to Jodhpur during the day for a visit, and spend more time at the homestay in the evening.
Ratan Vilas is an outstandingly well managed property. Everything is immaculate.

Another plus is their large, well kept swimming pool.
Our whole experience at Ratan Vilas was delightful.

Hotel is quite beautiful on several acres of manicured property. Pool absolutely sparkling and lovely to enjoy from dining table of one of the hotel's restaurants. Rooms clean and large, staff friendly, helpful and competent. A lot for the money.

There is also free Wifi in rooms and a free computer with Wifi in the lobby for guests to use. Also, it is about a 3 block walk to many restaurants and shops. We liked it so much that we...
