"Really good place for a 1 night stay - only downside was the restaurant was closed and you had to have meals in the public cafe - no problem for evening but breakfast was a bit confusing in terms of process and very limited choice given the price paid in advance. Some patrons had waitress service and hot food but it wasn’t obvious how to access this service."

"I travel a lot around Europe and this hotel is in the bottom 3 I have ever stayed in. Breakfast is poor. Coffee is poor. One breakfast was so crowded people were queuing for the horrible coffee machine, that they were forming a large que around all the tables in a snake like fashion. Women were queueing for the downstairs toilets and using the mens during one morning. I had my first dinner at their restaurant on a Sunday and the staff were unable to speak English, which was fine, I we managed. Steak was nice. The restaurant for dinner on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday was was so crowded, there was no space to sit and eat. They had only 3 overworked staff who were struggling to keep up. So I just ordered water at the bar and went to bed without eating. On one day, I did not even get water. I stood at the bar for 30 minutes and was just blatantly ignored by the staff - probably because communication with me was difficult for them and they did not have the time to want to make the effort. Room service is available, but there is no instruction provided in the room of what number to call for Room Service, so I had to go down to reception to ask. I was instructed to scan the QR code for the menu. The menu is only in Spanish. Sadly, I only speak English, so I could not order room service, either. The place is dead between 10:30 and 20:00 with no way of ordering food. All this for the handsome sum of £1k for 4 nights and to go hungry and to be ignored. Rubbish!!! "

"Looks like a castle, but built circa 2001? Seems to be dedicated to wedding events, - squeze as many guests in as possible. Large, impressive gardens at back but not accessible to 'ordenary' guests. We stayed beginning of April; not very full at all but ended up next door to family inc. small children shouting and running about, had to knock on door at 10:30 p.m. Woke up by dog barking at 6:15 a.m. left 7 a.m. without breakfast. Staff friendly but bar staff only spoke Spanish. Receptionist on checking out said nothing when we said how annoyed we were that in a hotel with apparently so many empty rooms we ended up between a playroom and a dog kennel. ( I didn't use them exact words but I now wish I had.) "
