Fine place. Welcoming and helpful cheery staff. Good clean and warm facility, lovely bed.
Only minor issue is the thin walls as could hear next door bathroom facilities .

When I booked the room at NH Puerta de la Catedral, I had no idea it was literally across the street from the door to the cathedral tower. Our room faced inward away from the cathedral, but in Salamanca, who would care? We spent most of our time walking around the old city that is all around this beautiful hotel. Amazing place in the middle of Salamanca’s historic section. Steps away from great restaurants and shopping and the Plaza Mayor. The apartment was beautiful with all necessary amenities including a washing machine (no dryer so plan accordingly) which is important for longer trips. I would highly recommend this apartment—great price, great location. Also ask about parking ahead of time. It was difficult to get to the apartment by car so plan to park and carry your things to the apartment. But...
