Hotels in Matoaca

"Very limited dining options and definitely not enough towels. For 2 people we got 2 bath towels no hand towels, no mat for the floor when you get out of the tub. The tub didn’t have any rough patches inside and there was no bath mat inside the tub which made taking a shower very tricky. Breakfast was horrible, the coffee was like water. The counter was large and I guess they thought if they spend out the options people would think there was a good breakfast being served. We will probably stay away from Country Inn hotels in the future. "

"The outside property was nice and rooms good, but all the first floor had dehumidifiers running 24/7 throughout the halls. I'm not sure about the other floor. It seemed a bit strange to have to run dehumidifiers in a hotel with carpet on the floor. A bit uncleanly. Our room also had an odor to it. Not sure if the carpet was wet before or old cigarette smoke. They have a gym; just 2 treadmills, a bike, and one weight machine."

"The hotel is a 2 star at best there are no amenities at all no hair dryer for an extended stay no pots , plates glasses etc nothing at all . The smell of marijuana in the hallway was very strong. It was for one night thank goodness never again "

"Our stay at this hotel was truly delightful. The property exudes old world charm, with beautiful architecture and especially tall hardwood doors leading to each room, which added a unique touch to the experience. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Although the food was a bit pricey, it was well-prepared and enjoyable. Since we were only there for one night, we didn’t have time to explore all the amenities, but our brief visit left a lasting impression. I would recommend for anyone seeking a charming and comfortable stay."
