Everything was great, but at checkout time, I was accused of drinking the four sodas that were in the refrigerator! Never used anything provided by the hotel in the mini-bar. I don't think that they believed me. I don't like being accused of something I didn't do.
The location and amenities were great. It is un-hosted so you check in on WhatsApp and get a link that opens the door. Once you get it worked out it is great.
There was a record player in the room and a stack of records in the lobby area. Lots of fun.
I tried to check in at 3:55 and they make you wait until 4:00 exactly.

This is a great place with a wonderful staff and a formidable restaurant. The room was clean, spacious and pretty, and everything had been arranged very thoughtfully. Highly recommended - and don’t forget to try their restaurant!

The room space is true to its description - small. If you have a lot of luggage’s or bigger luggage, the small room maybe challenging. Overall, though, I had a...
Perfectly located in central Alkmaar. Beautiful hotel and we stayed in a lovely room with a view overlooking the entire city. Some things to note about the hotel:
1. You have to check out the remote for the AC unit, which they didn't tell us at check-in, so we had to go back downstairs and ask about it.
2. There was a beam in the room that made the room look gorgeous, however the placement of the bed under the beam made head-smacks VERY LIKELY. This would be very easy to avoid with a simple...
