The breakfast itself was lovely, with plenty of fresh options and a terrace setting that made it extra special. The kids absolutely loved the pool, and we also made great use of the free bike hire to explore the area at our own pace. The hotel’s location is good, with restaurants, shops, and the lakeside just a short stroll away, and it’s perfectly placed for visiting nearby villages around Lake Como. The hotel offers warm service, a good breakfast, family-friendly facilities, and thoughtful extras like bike hire, all in a prime spot on the lake. "We loved our four-night stay at B&B Al Carotin. Julio is super friendly and always at hand. The property has balconies overlooking the valley and mountains, and it was so relaxing just to sit out on the balcony, drink in the views, and let your shoulders drop. We took a day trip to Tirano and took the train up to Switzerland, which is the same line as the Bernina Express. We had a couple of very enjoyable days by the lake. We'd love to come back."
