"A excellent location close to the castle and seafront although parking can be a problem. My room was OK could have had a bit more storage space and a chair would have been useful also had a problem closing the window. Nice cooked breakfast which includes fruit juice and cereal"

"Large room, tiny bathroom, bed comfortable. Very noisy overnight due to the hum of an air conditioning unit although the rooms do not have air conditioning."

"Beautiful location and fabulous rooms, suites with sea views. Book the suite as includes parking as car park up road is £15 24hrs. I would recommend upper suite as was awake at 6:30 with upstairs banging about. Staff lovely, good choice of drinks & food. Scenic walks and the beach is gorgeous. Be careful if you buy an icecream as the seagulls will take it out of your hand! We had a lovely chilled break. Highly recommend. "

"The inn is lovely, perfect location, great staff, good food, free parking on the road, wonderfully comfy bed and great bathroom… but beware of room 7 with a sea view.. on the second floor up steep steps but the reason for the 3 star rating is that you will constantly hear the water pump every time anyone in the hotel uses a drop of water. ALL NIGHT LONG! Very hard to sleep or stay asleep when is constantly starting up close by the bed. Were exhausted the next day, so glad we only stayed one night. The water pressure on the second floor is fab…but the noise from the pump really is annoying. The hotel only has an emergency contact number and no overnight staff so by 11pm when you realise that the pump is going to be jolting you awake regularly there is no one that can help."
