"Lovely property that sits nestled on the University of Western campus surrounded by trees. Hotel does all the basics right and for the right price. Confusing front desk location is actually down the hill and around the back. The breakfast buffet was a worthwhile option. Service from all staff members was very pleasant. "

"We had a great first stay at the new hotel! Place was stunning and clean. All employees were lovely and polite. The restaurant sessions was delicious but a bit slow.. maybe understaffed? Very slow bringing cutlery, missed somethings even though there was only 3-4 tables full at a time? Unfortunately the tv wasn’t working properly in the room for a stay in girls movie night and wasn’t able to be fixed. Fire alarm went off at a very early hour which is beyond control but it ended up being a malfunction so a-little annoying to start our day so early and with very young kids to rush down to the lobby at 6:30pm. Alittle concerning on how many guests didn’t come down to the lobby for the fire alarm so I hoping a new hotel there is a plan in place to get people out or further reach people of an actual fire. "

"Check in was seamless. The King Suite was large and spotless. The pool area was well maintained, the slide was closed. While this is an older hotel, it was very well maintained. You couldn’t turn a corner in the common areas without seeing someone polishing door handles, cleaning the bathrooms and the glass overlooking the pool. Great stay. "

"We had a great stay at Hotel Metro for our anniversary this week. The hotel is super close (literally across the street) from both the covent garden market, the Canada Life place and a variety of shops / restaurants, and anywhere else we wanted to go within downtown was easily walkable from the hotel. The whole hotel looks and smells clean, with a very cute and cozy lobby and friendly, accommodating staff. We felt very safe at this hotel with the doors locking each night at 7pm, it ensured that the hotel was secure and helped to bring us extra peace of mind within a busy area of the city. The staff here go above and beyond to provide guests with a pleasant and comfortable experience, and it definitely took our trip the extra mile. We would absolutely visit again, and as locals we feel that this is one of the best hotels available in downtown London Ontario"
