"Quiet but not too near to the main parts of Salaya. I wouldn't recommend for long-term stay if you are going to study at Mahidol. Would definitely recommend if you need a cheap clean place to spend a week or so in Salaya."

"New ! Sheet , pillow , bed and toilet . You still can smell new . You like quiet and are budgeting , this new place is the best . In the flip side , you take a bus ride with google translater and Google map . It is a hours and half bus ride from Lak Song MRT . "

"We had such a great stay. Being able to wake up in the morning, enjoying a cup of coffee on the deck. Looking at the canal, the fish, the local people preparing their shops and food for the day. The owners are very friendly and helpful. They welcomed us with open arms. I highly recommend staying here if you want to experience true thailand life. Definitely will be returning for another stay. "Yaks house is an amazing hostel. Staff is very friendly and they helped us with all the questions we had regarding the town. There is also laundry services in an affordable price. Breakfast was cool , 3- 4 a la carte options very tasty. Breakfast staff was friendly. Shared toilet was super clean and not cruded. Location is good , you can walk 5 mins to pier (port) and take the boat to discover Bangkok. Thank you guys!"

"Super nice and helpful daytime reception staff, and the hotel is very tidy. 24 hours front door lock. Super big and bright carpark with CCTV! Big room and a small balcony is a plus! I was little shock when entering the road but once you arrived their place, it was day and night differences ! Walk for 1 min there is a 7-11, Drive for 5 mins there is a local night market. Only few ants found in the corners ! I will come back again!"

"This is not a bad hotel,just not what it is advertised to be. Upon arrival I was shown to a pokey little room which was clearly not what I booked. When I objected I was given the room I had booked which was bigger and better but very tired and shabby. It is not an expensive hotel but I just wish hoteliers would be truthful in their description."

"Property is very nice, clean and all the staff were very courteous. Although they only take cash at the property to pay for food and any amenities. The hotel is secluded back off the main road, it is within walking distance of a large hospital, convenience stores, large intersection with night vendors. If you're a big fan of the nightlife bars, girls, etc. it would be best to stay closer to the Nana Plaza area, although if you like the quiet calm life, this hotel is perfect. The restaurant...
