"Lovely old building with a true historic Argentina feel. The owner and staff are FANTASTIC! So kind and helpful and very patient with my basic Spanish. I loved looking at the tortoises too. Highly recommend. I very much enjoyed my stay."

"This is a grand hotel that has seen better days. Not bad but not great. Not decrepit. Very clean and large room with no air conditioning and a small window to an interior air column. The door lock was loose in the door and the door had to be closed carefully. The old-style double-sided key only worked one way but would fit either way. On-site parking down a driveway to a courtyard and garage. Very tight space. Don't get a big vehicle. A few sort of English speaking staff. Bidet in the bathroom. Didn't take a shower so don't know about hot water. Small lobby with TV, couch and chair."

"Really artsy and beautiful place! Our room was spacious and everything had such fun decor to look at all over the hotel. We met Paula and she was so cool, chatted to us for awhile and had recommendations for our day. I wish we'd had more than our one quick night here and was sad to miss breakfast because of an early flight. Definitely book here!"
