The room was really clean! The doors and walls are really then. If I spoke the neighbor’s language, I would have known everything he was saying on the phone. Very comfy bed though. I slept like a king. The view was awesome too. Great HVAC system.
We absolutely loved our stay at Alva Valley. Great atmosphere, breakfast & amazing customer service with very nice rooms. So nice to escape from the crowds in Porto. We stayed here after our drive through Douro Valley. Highly recommend coming here to unwind.
Un très bon établissement dans lequel nous avons été accueillis par le propriétaire qui parle parfaitement français. Il a pris le temps de nous expliquer le domaine et ses environs. La villa très récente est très bien équipée pour passer un excellent séjour au calme. La piscine était également très bien. Pour le petit déjeuner, le propriétaire était aux petits soins selon nos désirs. Nous n'avons hélas pu que passer une nuit mais nous reviendrons.
Wonderful, quiet location away from the regular tourist track. Awesome property with big rooms, great pool, and really wonderful "surprise dinners" made by their chef. The meals here were probably some of the best meals we had in Portugal during our two week trip. The drink and wine selection was also superb! Facilities were very clean. Breakfast buffet was good. The pool was nice. All of the staff were very nice and helpful. And the bartender is did a great job as well.
