"We will definitely be back and will book longer. The location was perfect and really close to the National Park which was the reason for our visit. We wish we stayed longer to enjoy the paddle boards. The hotel doesn't provide shampoo, condition or bath soap so make sure you bring some! "
"The staff were super helpful and friendly. They tried their best to translate what they could and they were patient trying to navigate our language barrier. "
"From when we entered Auberge Pique nique we felt very welcomed. The young man at reception was so friendly and helpful and explained all that was included in our stay.
Rooms very clean and comfortable.
Breakfast was good, was pre determined breakfast. Everyone received 2 eggs
, bacon some fruit all the toast you want and very good coffee.
Over all enjoyed our stay reasonably priced and will return if in the area again."
"I have travelled numerous times to different places and this by far is the worst hotel I have been to. The sheets were dirty, there is no hot water, it feels unsafe, some of the bathrooms were shared that we did not know upon reserving (you have to pay extra for a private bathroom), lack of staff, you can here other guests talking outside the hallway to your bedroom. I don’t mind a hotel being old, I think it gives it a character, but was expecting it to be a little bit more well managed or at least clean and safe for a more pleasant experience. For some reason, I can feel a negative energy in this place and it looks so gloomy. If we had a choice, we would have left the place in a heartbeat even without refund but everywhere else around the area was either sold out or $1000 a night at Quebec City. Like what the other review had said, it feels like a Ghost hotel. Reminds me of The Nun movie. 😁 Goodluck. "
