"While the hotel looks centrally located, it is down a charmless side street, next to a wedding venue that is incredibly loud in the evenings. The front desk staff was friendly, they were initially unable to help with most problems (shower not working, etc) and when they said they’d send someone, I inevitably had to follow up twice. The kitchen restaurant (and “pool”) is located in a charmless basement, and kitchen staff was downright rude and argumentative when asked for room service, which was supposed to be standard. Bellboys expected to be tipped for doing nearly nothing, and the desk clerk wouldn’t allow me to pay for incidentals with a credit card because “he needed cash.” All in all, a disappointment."
"Pros- Nice ambiance, friendly staff, comfortable bed.
Cons- Breakfast lacked western options and decent coffee which was disappointing. Only Nescafé sachet. We went to London coffee for our remaining 2 breakfasts which was a short walk away.
We didn’t eat dinner at the restaurant as it was Indian buffet. They had western options for room service though.
Our room was upgraded for our 2nd and 3rd nights as our first room was close to the street and very noisy. "
"Had evening we needed for our one night stay. Dinner was great and it was nice to have dinner on the rooftop.
The hotel is extremely close to Taj Mahal and we were able to walk there quickly.
Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, would definitely recommend this hotel. "
