"It was really nice that the check in staff noticed on my id that it was my birthday and upgraded us. We loved the room! Great breakfast as always. However, minutes after I got into the pool in the morning I was told they were going to close it in 15 minutes for cleaning. It would have been nice if there was a sign about the closure time in advance, I would have waited to get in instead of spending an hour in a wet swimsuit in my room before I could go back to the pool."

"Friendly service, nice amenities and a large lobby to enjoy. Room was very spacious and clean. The only reason it wasn’t a 5 star, the bed was very soft and lumpy. But other than it was a great place to stay. There is $20 per day parking. You can park on the street, but it didn’t seem like a safer place to do so. "

"Super clean, staff was very friendly! I enjoyed the full sized shampoo/conditioner/body wash. Worth the price for the location alone—right across Salt Palace Convention Center and next to the City Creek mall. I was able to walk to a lot of places downtown rather than take an Uber. Beds were also very comfortable and even though I had a city view room, I could still see the beautiful mountains."

"We enjoyed our stay the only issue was the blinds did not work. We were on the 5th floor so not overly concerned about it. When we checked out we mentioned this and they said some rooms the blinds are raised and lowered with remotes. We did not see a remote or know this, so if you cannot raise and lower your blinds, call the front desk "
