The staff was all friendly, polite and answer all my questions on point. The food was well prepared and flavorful and all organically grown. Will recommend this place.
In my booking process I requested an earlier check in time. This was met with no hesitation or additional cost. All equipment in the unit were fully functional. The kitchenette especially was was packed with sufficient utensils. Overrall I was very pleased and have no complaints. However i will like to recommend to have an iron and board be available to use.
Pros and cons from a seasoned traveler. Pros: amazing waterside location. The guest house is located directly above the local fishing pier, so you can watch people come and go all day, unload and clean their fish. It is a short walk to Buccoo beach, which is incredible. The hotel is very spacious. The main pool is gorgeous. I booked the 2 bedroom suite with jacuzzi for my 29th wedding anniversary. My cousin also accompanied my wife and I who utilized the second bedroom. The jacuzzi was inoperable which was very disappointing ! The living room floor kept encountering condensation on the floor. Our room 242 had an unbelievable view of the ocean! The buffet breakfast was ok. The let down for us was few choices of Trinidadian food. Saltfish, baigan choka and roti....
As a solo traveler you never know what awaits you in a new country. Fish Hostel in Tobago was one of the best Hosteks Ive been to. Brandon is simply amazing!!! He made my truo so smazing I cant put in words. By the end of my stay. I felt like family!!!!!!! Andrew really went out of his way to make our stay pleasant and memorable. Guest house layout is charming and kitchen facilities more than adequate.
