"The property was spotless. The room was a lot smaller than we imagined, but we didn’t spend much time in it anyway. I recommend this place for a quick visit, otherwise you’d feel cramped with two people. The common area didn’t feel inviting, just two desks and a kitchen with no seating area. I would prefer a couch instead or at least some chairs for the kitchen island, so that there is somewhere else to spend some time, because in the bedrooms there’s just a bed and the little kitchen is a step away from it. I don’t understand where we’re supposed to eat - on the bed? At the desks in the common area? The host was polite and responsive but I felt like I received too many emails. The host uses a third party service for the cleaning fee and deposit, and that felt a little sketchy to us. The service even asked for a photo of my credit card, which is too much I think. Overall we had no problems at all, the place is clean and in a safe neighborhood. A pleasant walk to all the bars and restaurants in Ballard, good and reliable transportation if you need it as well."
