The hotel has been entirely renovated, great location, excellent breakfast buffet. The ladies working the omelet bar were awesome, very attentive and efficient. Eric at the front desk was so helpful with our travel plans, the only downside was the air conditioning, we had to keep the windows open all night.

Not a typical hotel - no breakfast facilities, no big lobby and amenities - but we didn’t miss that at all: there’s tea making facilities, and there’s great coffee shops and restaurants right downstairs

Beautiful location, old school charm. Quiet hotel, but outside can be loud if you have windows open. Hotel cannot control that, it is part of the price of being on the main coastal street. Great view. If arriving at night, hotel 15 from Nice airport. 15 min walk to old town Nice. Numerous bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk.
the rooms were well appointed with queen size beds. The rooms are cleaned daily with fresh towels. The light breakfast is excellent. The view is amazing and is in an excellent location with in a block from the park and ocean. there is not air conditioning but the time of year I went was lovely and did not require it. Also, if you are unable to take stairs I would say this location is not for you because there is not a lift.

We were welcomed upon arrival and checked in quickly. We also received helpful suggestions and maps for Nice, including the bus routes. The bus picks up in front of and across the street from the hotel. I found using google maps the easiest to navigate bus routes and stops. Anyway, our room was renovated and the only small complaint was the dim lighting in it, as our room was south facing and didn’t receive lots of sunlight (difficult to apply makeup in the AM). The check in was quick and easy. The rooms were small, but the space was very efficient with good shelving for your luggage etc. They had comfortable beds and super cute aesthetic. Very easy walk to the train station. I would definitely stay there again.
We had a very nice three day stay at this hotel, despite the fact that the airline lost my luggage for a week and we had to keep calling them to see if there was any news. But all the people at Villa Rivoli were very kind, and breakfast in their garden with cut knit egg cosies was delightful. The location is very convenient and the rooms are not large but do have a certain charm.
Hotel could not have been better. Such a beautiful area, less than 10 minutes walk to the train station, eat breakfast while looking at the cathedral, and attached to a cafe with a ton of gluten free options.
