We stayed at ibis as an overnight after a long day of travel, and it was wonderful. The staff was welcoming, even after midnight, and we got drinks from the 24 hour bar to sate our thirst after a long day. The bed was comfortable and the room was convenient. Absolute gem. The bed was so comfortable, and I have a bad back so this was such a relief! We stayed in the Barn room which was so spacious! We had our own bathroom, foyer with a desk and drawers, as well as a bedroom. This place has everything you need and at a great price. It was fairly empty when I was there do the shared bath no problem. The ratio of public areas to private where quite high, with 2 outdoor seating areas and a sizable kitchen for only 4 rooms. Communication was great and people were friendly. I loved my stay at the Oakmoon. I was the only one there for two days, so I had free use of my spacious room, plus the open-plan full kitchen and living room area and the funky little interior patio with hand-painted mural. The house is on a narrow street of mostly private homes and a few bars and restaurants and close to plenty of other restaurants, shops, the marina, cathedral, laundromat, etc. Sarah, the house manager, is friendly and very helpful, if you need anything.
