We loved this property. Our room was very comfortable, clean, and quiet. The location is fantastic. Just steps away from a beautiful beach and you can easily hook up to the cliff path for a wonderful walk into town (about an hour). A real highlight of our stay. Unfortunately I was sick during our visit so couldn't do as much in the area as I hoped but staff was very helpful and accommodating

We stayed in room 1 which faces the mountain and street and is on the top level. The room has a lot of windows, a small patio, a couch, desk, air conditioning and comfortable bedding. Breakfast each morning was served overlooking the golf course. Food was tasty and freshly prepared. There is a small pool with nice area to sit and enjoy the sun. Staff was attentive, personable and friendly. Thank you to Elani and her crew for making our stay so relaxed.

Nice guesthouse with patios and garden. Confortable room. Do not expect views. Great location for walking around

The accommodation were way better than I assumed. Everything is just spotless clean. Very nice and clean inside pool area. Big kitchen for everyone's use. Room and bathroom clean, big and comfortable. Owners went out of their way to make it a very special stay for us. Just too short. Will stay there again.

Everyone at this guest house is lovely! The rooms are large and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, and the gentleman even made sure I had extra fruit. It is also walking distance from a very nice restaurant and the shark diving companies and dock. I would highly recommend this place.

Amazing service, views, access to the cliffs and town. The rooms were comfortable and quiet! We would highly recommend and would not consider staying anywhere else. So accommodating and friendly, service with a smile. Spa was great and very reasonable! Definitely do at least one dinner with their chef who customized meals to freshest available! Only wish we could have stayed longer!

We wished we would have stayed here for more than one night. Our room (apartment?) was spacious and comfortable with a great view of the water. The washer and dryer were really convenient for our long trip. The area is quiet with a lot of restaurants close by.

I booked last minute before cage diving and stayed a night. Room was ready and hosts very welcoming. Perfect for my purposes.

The Marine must occupy one of the world's great natural locations. Perched on the cliffs overlooking the Indian Ocean in the resort town of Hermanus, there is no better place to enjoy breakfast. Walk along the cliffs, visit the beach, watch for whales ... what's not to like? BTW - the food is great.

We enjoyed our stay very much. A beautiful and well kept property. Secured parking inside the gate. We had an upstairs room (no elevator) and had help getting our luggage up. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom was large. The balcony with the ocean view is worth the extra cost! Walking distance to town with all kinds of stores. We ate at Cafe 1904 and the oxtail (a common dish here) was outstanding, better than at Cape Town. When present, the staff was very friendly and helpful…took a star...

Our stay at Whale Coast Ocean Villa was fabulous! This is the perfect place for exploring the Hermanus Cliff Walk and Grotto Beach. It is beautifully decorated, the breakfast was amazing, the staff warm and welcoming. Our stay was too short. Hope to visit again soon.
