And... the entrance of this place is a big steel door that slides open when you get out and push the call button. Unfortunately, we got super sick from something we ate in the Galapagos the day before and could barely function when we arrived at Quito Airport...

This was an amazing Sanctuary located in the mountains above the city of Quito. It was very easy to get there. We had the room called the cathedral which was amazing with a natural in-ground hot tub the authenticity of the rooms and the decor made you feel as though you are having the best Ecuadorian experience ever. The environment at the hotel was extremely welcoming, the service was great and the room was well equipped and clean. I particularly enjoyed the walking tour with Santiago, who was very thorough with his explanations and showed us the best of Quito’s beautiful historical town! Even though I was traveling solo, I never felt alone because of the staff. I would definitely recommend this place to any travellers looking for a more personal and traditional trip in Quito!

This is an adorable hotel located in the mariscal neighborhood. With a late flight we didn't arrive to our hotel until around 1:00 am, but there was still a person working the front desk waiting for us.
