Each and every was very friendly, helpful and made us feel at home. The rooms are outdated and need an update. Location is very good. Few min walk to MG marg the most happening place . "We had an amazing 2 night stay at this hotel. The hotel is in a very quiet part of town near the Secretariat building and across the street from the former king’s palace complex. We were told that the building was a guest house for royal guests. The building has 5 floors and each floor has 4-5 rooms, all with a view of the mountains. We stayed at the top floor with access to the terrace. Be aware that there is no elevator. The staff was very friendly and nice. There are no eating places nearby...

Their outsourced travel service is a weak link. Transfer from Bagdogra to hotel was disappointing with a rash driver and a small taxi with poor springs that made for a very uncomfortable trip on a bumpy road. We were promised a trip to Tsomgo lake and Baba Mandir but the driver would not go to Baba Mandir. I would look for another travel...
