"Beautiful, old-school grand hotel vibes. But in the best of ways. Extensive nautical theme, with great regional history. Large, well-appointed rooms. Water-side rooms on upper levels have a stunning view of the canal. Restaurant was very good. Bar/lounge has booked shows, so check in advance and buy tickets if you're interested. Very reasonable on-site parking, but there was always available street parking as well. "

"Very clean, safe, modern and a great location for Kiel or the ferry. Parking was easy using the Q Park. Would definitely recommend and come again. We used the hotel for breakfast sometimes but there are lots of places in walking distance round the water too. Perfect for a family or couples. Staff are very friendly and helpful"

"Check in was easy, easy access to rooms by elevator (though it could become crowded), nice room, nice facilities. Breakfast was fine, not a big selection, but it was fine. Location is superior! With very easy access to the main shopping area, lots or restaurant options, very close to several bus routes, and we had a nice view down to the public bath/water fountain. "
