It felt a bit musty, dark, old-fashioned than what we might expect from a Dan hotel, although the stay was perfectly fine. We didn't eat so I can't speak to the food situation."

The location is great – within a short walking distance to so many attractions, restaurants, bars, and cafes – and there's free parking in an area where finding parking can be challenging. The house is beautiful and very nicely renovated. The rooms are spacious and cozy, and the upstairs common room, where you can have free sweets and drinks in front of amazing views, is a real bonus. Beautiful beach downstairs with a wave breaker allowing at least one direction of calm water, many food options, walking distance to the train station, easy car access from and to Haifa.
