"Charming old-style hotel in quiet scenic setting next to the lake shore. Rooms are comfortable and quiet, beds comfy. No air conditioning (only fan), so in summer the south-facing rooms warm up quite a bit, but the ones overlooking the lake are very comfortable (on our floor they were larger as well). Nice pool (fair size, clean). The restaurant has good Turkish-style buffet breakfast and serves various dishes for dinner in a relaxing setting (inside or outside on the large terrace). Owners of the hotel are very helpful and friendly. Nothing much around, so you pretty much need a car. Tip: spend a late afternoon on the “beach” on the east side of the lake where it’s possible to swim for anyone slightly more adventurous, and notice the stark contrast to places like Oludeniz Beach"
"So good I would live here year-round if I could! The Sagalassos Lodge & Spa is so magical, I don't understand why it isn't booked up constantly. Visit now while it is still a hidden gem.
The property is so beautiful. The building is large and spacious, with plenty of places to relax. The pool deck is especially pleasant. The spa area was amazing, too - hamam, sauna, and indoor pool. Unfortunately the hot tub was not working when we visited, but everything else was great.
Our room was very comfortable with a stunning view of the surrounding mountains. They also had a pack n' play crib for our toddler!
The restaurant on-site serves a truly amazing breakfast spread, as well as delicious dinner choices. They also have a good selection of Turkish wines.
Finally, the service was truly top-notch. Everyone was so friendly and you can tell they really care about providing an excellent experience. We loved our stay and would very gladly return."
"Wonderful experience! The host was extremely kind and helpful — they really went out of their way to help me when I arrived - (without any cash as I didn’t know there were no atms or card machines around..) Though I don’t speak Turkish, we were able to communicate using Google Translate.
The area itself is beautiful and peaceful. I enjoyed a quiet morning walk to Lake Salda, which was tranquil and scenic. Do note that you will need a car to get here, as the Dolmuş does not reach the area, and the nearest marketplace is about a 15-minute, making it the perfect spot for a peaceful retreat."
