We were there to visit family but the area does have lots of shopping and other attractions. Prices on dining and hotels in the area are not blown up like you would find in other parts of Florida which makes it affordable to visit.

I have grown to love New Port Richey. The restaurants are amazing and there is a sweet community park just outside of the sitting veranda at The Hacienda. I'm actually sitting in the rocking chairs right now enjoying my morning coffee.
