Learn more about Burien
Forget the Seattle skyline for a moment and discover Burien's understated pleasures. At Seahurst Park, eagles soar above as you descend forested trails to a driftwood-strewn Puget Sound beach where the Olympic Mountains pose dramatically across the water. 'Olde Burien' defies suburban stereotypes with its main street of independent shops and family-run restaurants serving seafood caught that morning. Town Square hosts a farmers market where locals debate the merits of competing berry farms while sipping coffee from corner cafés. The arts scene punches above its weight with community theater productions and rotating gallery exhibits. For the full experience, time your visit to the Wild Strawberry Festival, when this unassuming community reveals its quirky, creative soul.

The Belltown Inn
"The staff are very nice and helpful. The hotel is located in a downtown area within walking distance of a lot of attractions, and there are a lot of homeless people living nearby on the sidewalks. The room was very small, and our view was looking into the windows of apartment building next door. However, the bed was comfortable and everything was clean."
Coast Seattle Downtown Hotel by APA
"Clean room. Nice view on 28th floor. Only one elevator worked which was very inconvenient. The front desk staff was not overly friendly. They were fine just not incredibly warm."
