Hotels in West Point

"Very nice property. Two years old. Beautifully decorated. Rooftop restaurant with nice views. Coffee and light breakfast in the lobby area (possibly for a fee if not included). Bar services available in the lobby. Parking on street is amply available. Valet is $35 per night but not necessary in my opinion. Hotels is located about 6-7 blocks from downtown, but we preferred this location. More sketchy foot traffic downtown than at this hotel. Restaurants of high quality everywhere. Louisville compares nicely to larger cities with quality and eclectic facilities. Only negative: Drag Queen brunch. I found this offensive, poor corporate culture and very bad judgement. Think about adults having brunch while trans men dance around and sing. Personally, I found this disgusting. There were young families with kids staying there. Shame on the owners and Hilton for allowing this. "

"The hotel is lovely. Had dinner in the bar and it was good service was great. However, brunch downstairs at JGrahams was not great. Had reservations and waited 90 minutes for food. Manager never came over and they didn’t offer to concessions. "

"Room smelled terrible. Like smoke. Air conditioner vents were completely dirty & gross inside. My coffee maker didn’t work in my room. The outlets in the bathroom were so bad nothing would stay plugged in. Pillows were very uncomfortable & not soft at all. They said pool was heated but it was ice cold! & when I tried telling front desk about my broken coffee maker, the lady didn’t even lift her head from her phone to listen to me. My water pressure in the shower was ridiculous & my sink water wouldn’t even get warm, even after running it for 20 minutes…..Terrible place all around & I will never stay again. "

"The “full service” restaurant was terrible! Literally the worst half of what we ordered for breakfast was not available including milk, breakfast sausage, butter, croissant, cream for coffee the rest of breakfast was cooked wrong. The yogurt smelled rotten. The side of toast for $4 was ridiculous! A stale piece of cheap bread, half toasted, no butter, honey or jam available no discounts were offered whatsoever for all the issues. The valet parking was a joke. $36/day but we had to wait forever for the attendant to show up and retrieve our keys only to have us get our own car from the lot and park it again upon return. We basically paid $36/day for a parking lot adjacent to a public lot that was $7/day. So we overpaid by a ridiculous amount for no service at all. I can only say that the room was clean and bed was comfortable. Everything else was unacceptable. "
