Everything was immaculant.The staff was extremely accommodating, kind and friendly as usual. The French Toast was absolutely delicious and sitting on the veranda was splendid. Thank you for another wonderful stay!

Nice inn located in a 200 year old house. Rooms with comfortable beds, no tv, but they do have WiFi. Food is very good and the couple that owns and runs the inn is very friendly and accommodating. Some quirks like squeaky floors and no locks on the doors just add to the charm. Nice fireplace and outdoor deck. Coffee is excellent too. Very nice place to stay you have something going on in the area, or if you want a relaxing low key vacation in picturesque Vermont or nearby upstate NY.

Unbelievable, the staff were so nice and helpful, not a bad thing to say about them. Our Room was outstanding, so comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious, not just a coffee and doughnut, but a hot breakfast with eggs, sausage the works...

Great stay for two nights. Clean room with comfortable beds. Walkable to several breakfast options and an excellent Italian sub shop. Short drive to Fort Ticonderoga-well worth the trip!

I booked at this motel at the last minute and was very apprehensive because I usually don’t stay in motel. It, since my last minute stay was for one night and the reviews were good, I said ‘hey’ why not. I’m only going to stay overnight! Amy was wonderful and we slept so well! Would have preferred a king but the queen was super comfortable. Rooms tastefully decorated and breakfast was lovely. Looking forward to returning

Completely amazing. I've been working in the area for two months and ive stayed at several hotels in the area. Silver Bay is, by far, the most comfortable, cleanest and friendliest. I'll be in the area for another week or two and I'm already booked for this week. I'd like to add that the bed was the most comfortable and their towels, the fluffiest. Lovely hotel which is well kept and has the feel of the classic days. Great location near the lake.

Very surprising room size. 2nd floor looks updated. Huge bathroom with excellent warm water and pressure. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Incredible little library on 2nd floor with tons of books, microwave, toaster oven and coffee pot. Oh yeah and cool record player was very relaxing. We stayed here as part of a Mt. Marcy hiking trip and this place made the trip even more enjoyable.

We stayed at the lodge for Ironman Lake Placid. It is close enough to easily get to and from the venue, but far away enough to enjoy the quiet surrounding area. Our stay was incredible. The breakfast was the best part. The blueberry muffins can’t be beat! The rooms were cozy and the lodge was peaceful. Loved hanging out at the river behind the lodge to relax. We will be back!

Such a great relaxing place to visit. Staff was all very friendly and everything was very safe and clean.
