Discover small-town Americana at its finest, complete with a charming town square and friendly locals. Enjoy community events like the annual Forsyth Family Fest or explore nearby Lake Decatur for outdoor recreation.
Plenty of shopping and dining, but most of the dining options were national chains. I liked the paved bike path on the east edge of town. Great for biking or walking.

Excellent
Sad that the Hickory Point Mall is virtually a ghost town and the theatre next door is now empty.

Good
Forsyth is pretty nice. Decatur not so much. Some nice places to check out if you do your research.
"Very comfortable stay; some confusing information. Before arriving, received a text about checking in online early, and in that process it stated pets were not allowed; however I had booked the site primarily because they allowed dogs and I was traveling with mine. When I got to the hotel I went to the desk and asked about pets; they do in fact allow pets. There was very littlte presence at the front desk. I stopped in to check out in the morning but no one was available. about half hour after leaving I got a text to check out online (not particularly convenient when driving). The hotel was great for the price but the management processes just a bit inconvenient."
"Hotel was super great will go back to this hotel again and continusly in the future. But what I didn't like was in the pool area it felt hot and no chlorine in the skimmer baskets. Put pop in the little fridge in our room and it froze on us couldn't drink it. Having a shuttle to Devon amphitheater is nice too."
